In-Orbit

DX1 – was developed as an experimental apparatus for testing equipment, development of the technology and software, unified platform of small satellites DX series. This platform allows you to create a new generation of satellites for different purposes with minimal revision for specific functions.

The first series of satellite «DX» payload equipped to receive signals of the Automated Identification System (Automatic Identification System), and transmit them to the ground.

This global system is used for navigation and identification of vessels in the oceans and river lines. DX1 can enter into the constellation, the purpose of which is to collect information from the sea and river vessels in the UHF band and to communicate it to ground stations.

Designing and programming DX1 spacecraft were made on the basis of Technopark “Skolkovo” specialists Dauria Aerospace. “Ural” satellite assembly is made on the company’s premises in the business center.

DX1 spacecraft successfully launched July 8, 2014, simultaneously with the launch of “Meteor-M №2» carrier rocket “Soyuz-2-1B” with the upper stage “Fregat” unit. It operates in orbit for more than a year and a half.
